Books: The Last Lecture

Is it bad that I found The Last Lecture to be pretty boring? I actually didn't even finish reading it. Maybe I'm just too cynical. For those who don't know, professors are asked to give a last lecture, where they talk about life, etc. In this instance, the professor really only had a few months to live so really was giving his last lecture.

I was expecting this book to be his last lecture in writing, but I guess I have to search online if I want to watch it. This book instead is more of a behind-the-scenes look at his life, how he came to write his lecture, the events surrounding it, etc. etc.

I got the general gist of setting goals and trying to achieve your dreams, so I was otherwise not too interested in reading the rest of the book which should have been a short and easy read.
