Can you believe what's taking place in Iran? It's crazy/exciting and makes me feel guilty for putting up posts like these, where I whine about going on a work-paid trip to the Yukon. I'm just in my crack den hotel room watching the protests on the news and it really makes one ponder how large the world is, how different people are, how lucky I am to be living in Canada and not having to deal with what's going on over there. I think what they are doing is amazing and hope they manage to get what they are standing up for.
Anyhow, here are some photos from this corner of the world.
Here I am, at
the longest fish ladder in the world, located right here in Whitehorse! Unfortunately, there weren't any fish swimming up that we could see this day.
This is downtown Whitehorse. This street is their main street, aptly named Main Street. Check out that sky! This photo was taken at around 8pm!
these photos remind me of small town norway... but I am sure Whitehorse is bigger and has more amenities than most Norwegian towns!
