Eating: Maenam

Checked out the newly transformed restaurant Maenam the other day. This used to be Gastropod on 4th, and I loved it when it was Gastropod, but I guess due to the economy, they decided to change their menu and become a Thai restaurant.



I'm never the first to choose a Thai restaurant for a meal, but I'm glad we did! The smaller lunchtime menu offered up satays with delicious homemade peanut sauce and spicy cucumber dip, a wonderfully flavourful Muslim Oxtail Soup, a perfect pad thai, and a beef curry that I just wanted to pour all over the table and lick up like a dog. Everything about the place was fantastic!! Even though I miss Gastropod, this was a fine replacement! I'd definitely go back!
