Okay I was actually at a beauty pageant, helping out all weekend long, but it was held in a high school, so I took some time out to hang out in the Music room and do a little solo on the drums. Right!?!
And before you say "Beauty Pageant?!!? WTF?!" I should tell you that it's also a fundraiser for a charity called Cops For Cancer and this year raised over $16,500!! It is organized every year by The Guy. Yes, The Guy. Was with The Guy all weekend long and it was glorious.
Am I over him? Not completely but at least I'm not as obsessed. Though he's making it a lot harder these days for me. For one, before hanging up the phone the other day, he said, "Love you!" He might as well have sucker punched me as the wind was knocked completely out of me. Later, he came up and nuzzled his head onto my shoulder and gave me a hug and said, "I love it when you come." WTF!!! Stop the torture!

A beauty pageant weekend wouldn't be complete if Alexis and I didn't go out to our favourite winery and order up a platter of night cheese along w/ some local wine!
Then it was time to crown the winner and of course, everyone was just as shocked as I was!!
I did not and would never think "WTF" when it comes to you and beauty pageants. My only thought was -- Why isn't he in the pageant instead of assisting back stage?!?!?

what a tease he is - not fair. I don't think that is very nice. I say run.
