Philip took me out to Richmond yesterday where we had a feast of a lunch at Shanghai River, a Shanghainese restaurant that's been getting rave reviews from people.
We ordered way too much food for two people but managed to pluck our way through all the soup dumplings, fish broth soup, fried onion pancake, chicken, crab shrimp claws, and deep fried onion dumplings. It's dim sum stuff all day long there, so if you've got a hankering for that, give this place a try. It was quite high end inside as far as Chinese restaurants go, but then again most of the places in Richmond are pretty nice.
