YVR: Things to do in Vancouver this Weekend

I don't have any solid plans for this weekend, though next week I will be attending the Swell Season concert, which I am looking forward to but am also bummed out about because while I'm there listening to Glen and Martketa sing their hearts out, I'll be missing out on the party happening over at the Biltmore, where the Hidden Cameras will be performing!

Meanwhile, for those of you with kids, (and I have several friends with the little beasts), why not go check out the Vancouver Art Gallery with them? It's Family Fuse Weekend, which means kids under 12 get in for free! What a great way to introduce your children to art! Plus, it sounds completely interactive and way cool!

Also, the Eastside Culture Crawl is taking place, starting tomorrow. "This event involves artists in their studios who work on the east side of Vancouver." There will be more than 300 artists opening up their studios and homes to visitors this weekend, so grab the map, stake out a gameplan, and go get your Culture Crawl on!!

Also, advice columnist Dan Savage will be in town on Saturday night, at the Chan Centre.
