Viggo Mortensen should have been nominated for his portrayal of a man fighting for survival with his son in a post-apocalyptic world. The Road was a stunningly beautiful movie about a not so distant future when the world is coming to an end, nature is dying off, and people are resorting to cannibalism to stay alive. Heavy, draining, but ultimately a movie definitely worth going to.
