I was really looking forward to seeing this movie, because Alice in Wonderland is my favourite children's story ever. However, people kept telling me that it wasn't as good as they had hoped, and so I was deterred from going. The fact that it is more of a sequel than actually being the original story of Alice In Wonderland also made me hesitant.
I finally did watch it though, and I must say I quite enjoyed it. The story is a little different, but there's enough elements of the classic that remain that make it familiar. Johnny Depp's Mad Hatter was alright, I looooooved the Cheshire Cat, and Helena Bonham Carter's turn as the Queen of Hearts I thought was downright brilliant!! "Did you steal my tarts?!!"
