Canadian director Atom Egoyan's Chloe is perhaps his most comprehensible movie I've seen. His other films have gone over my head, but this one was relatively easy to follow. That said though, it was also a bit on the predictable side. Julianne Moore plays a woman who hires Chloe, played by Mamma Mia's Amanda Seyfried, to seduce her husband Liam Neeson in order to see if he's cheating on her or not.
At first I thought, what a great concept and the perfect film for a Jealous Asian Bitch like myself! Momma and I came up with that term Jealous Asian Bitch, or simply JAB, to describe Asian women and gay Asian men who are partnered and who shoot evil looks at any other Asian in the room to say, "This is my man! Don't you dare look at him, or I will CUT you!" The partner in question is usually Caucasian, or at the least non-Asian.
Signs you might be a JAB: you're Asian, you're insecure, you have a tendency to turn psychotic or suspicious about your partner's activities, you see all other Asians as the enemy.
This isn't a condition that's exclusive to Asians, either. You can certainly be a JWB, a Jealous White Bitch.
Anyway, Chloe. Julianne Moore is perfection. The movie is good, but strange. Definitely predictable. Filmed in Toronto, it features the city as itself and has some great shots, including scenes at Allan Gardens, which I've actually visited and think would be a great date spot!

I am definitely a JAB!
