Sunday morning I went to see Barney's Version at the film festival. It's based on the book by Canadian author Mordecai Richler and stars Paul Giamatti and Scott Speedman. It was funny and touching and quintessentially Canadian. Great performance by Giamatti, perhaps Oscar worthy even?
