Rainn Wilson stars as an ordinary joe who turns himself into a vigilante / superhero. It definitely draws comparisons to the movie Kick-Ass, which is slicker and funnier. This film is more on the indie/gritty side, as well as darker. It has scenes that are a bit too grotesque for my liking, but then there are scenes where I laughed out loud because of Ellen Page and her demented role as the sidekick.
In the end, the movie is about a lonely man who makes the most out of his life and making every moment count.
